'Strangers are Strange' is a research project that seeks to confront audiences with the mysterious and complex symbiotic relationship the human species share with bacterial organisms. The project represents how spatial design can make this relationship tangible, experiential, and immersive through performance and installation-based practice. It seeks to re-contextualize the human experience and the traditional concept of 'self'. Can we look past the form we recognize as our bodies- one unique piece and mold, and enter the invisible, microenvironments to explore the unknown?
